Dan Wellings is a Senior Fellow at the Kings Fund, where his particular areas of interest include patient and staff experience and public perceptions of the NHS.  Before joining The King’s Fund, Dan was Head of Insight and Feedback at NHS England where he was responsible for the commissioning and running of a number of national surveys including the GP Patient Survey, the Cancer Patient Experience Survey and the NHS Staff Survey.  In addition, his team oversaw the implementation of the friends and family test.  Dan has also been Research Director at Ipsos MORI, specialising in public attitudes to the NHS and social care.
