Michelle has been a senior leader in a wide range of health and social policy organisations, responsible for communications and engagement as well, as more recently, user insight and experience. At Imperial College Healthcare, which she joined in 2014, Michelle has overseen major improvements in stakeholder relationships, staff engagement and patient and public involvement.  Before joining the trust, she was director of communications at the British Medical Association, and, before that, interim director of communications at the Cabinet Office, director of communications at The King’s Fund, head of public affairs for the Royal College of Nursing and Director of communications and fundraising for homelessness charity, Crisis.
